Spring Flowers

This tutorial assumes you have working knowledge of paint shop pro,

Open a new image 650x650 and flood fill white,
I am trying to make my tags smaller so I am going to start with
a bit smaller work area, this is your choice if you want
to make a larger tag.

open DS_SpringMini4_paper3 resize by 18% and c/p as a new
layer, apply a mask of choice, I used FDL_194 I am not sure
where I got this mask but it is an awesome mask

Now lets open DS_SpringMini4_FrameRound2 c/p as a new layer
resize this by 15% and move it towards the left just a little bit
Now lets open DS_SpringMini4_frame2 c/p as a new layer and
resize by 25% grab your magic wand and click inside the frame
opening, expand by 9 and invert, open DS_SpringMini2_paper3
resize by 18% and c/p as a new layer below the frame, hit delete
and select none, now lets go to the round frame layer, select all
float and defloat, now go to the paper you just added and erase
the part that covers this frame, do the same with the square frame
leaving the part to the left un touched, select none, now open
DS_SpringMini5_DottedFrame, c/p as a new layer, arrange to
right above the mask layer and resize by 18% and place towards
the top right, duplicate, flip and then mirror, arrange like on my
tag, Now lets open DS_Spring_Mini_Leaves3 c/p as a new layer
arrange this layer to right above the mask layer and resize by 18%
place so it peeks out from behind the left of the frames,Now
duplicate and then rotate to the left by 90%, Now lets open
DS_Spring_Mini_Leaves4 c/p as a new layer right above the other
leaves and resize by 18% and then flip, now duplicate and then
rotate to the right by 90%,
Now lets open DS_SpringMini4_RibbomCurled
and c/p as a new layer, bring to the top and mirror, now resize by
39% arrange along the bottom of the square frame, now lets open
DS_Spring_Mini2_ScatteredPearls c/p as a new layer, resize by
19% arrange this layer below your ribbon layer, duplicate, mirror
and then flip, arrange the two together, Now lets open
DS_Spring_Mini_FoldedPaperFlower2 c/p as a new layer, bring to
the top and resize by 19% now duplicate and flip, arrange together
Now lets open DS_SpringMini3_String2 c/p as a new layer, arrange
to right above the curled ribbon layer and resize by 20% Now open
DS_Spring_Mini_Flower5 c/p as a new layer, resize by 20% and
arrange below your paper flowers, Open DS_Spring_Mini_Flower3
c/p as a new layer and resize by 10% and bring this layer to the top
now open DS_SpringMini3_Flower3 c/p as a new layer and resize
this by 15% and arrange on the round frame near the top right
now open DS_Spring_Mini2_Flower3 c/p as a new layer and resize
this by 45% and then mirror Place with your other flower,
on my tag, I duplicated my greenery and placed some at the
top right of the tag, and also did a small cluster of flowers at the
top right as well, when you are happy with your tag, add a drop
shadow of choice to your elements (I did not dropshadow the line frames)
and a tube or tubes of choice, hide the white background layer
and merge visible.

I always resize my finished tag BEFORE adding my copyright info,
it makes this seem clearer, add your name and copy right
information and Save the way you prefer to save tags,

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white, (you can ALWAYS resize later, I like having plenty of room to work) open DS_LuckyMe_Paper4 resize by 19% and c/p as a new layer, apply a mask of choice, I used WSL_Mask218 Now lets open DS_LuckyMe2_Frame-2 Wrapped c/p as a new layer and resize by 20% and arrange so it is centered on the mask. Now grab your freehand selection tool and select around the frame opening (if you use the magic wand you will miss the area at the bottom that is wrapped) selections invert and open DS_LuckyMe_Paper3 resize by 19% and c/p as a new layer below the frame layer and hit delete, select none, Now lets open DS_LuckyMe2011_CloverLeaves and c/p as a new layer resize this by 9% and arrange to your liking, I duplicated mine and then resized this one by 70% and rotated it a bit by 18% now lets open DS_LuckyMe2011_Flower and c/p as a new layer resize by 60% place with your clovers, open DS_LuckyMe2011_flower2 c/p as a new layer, resize by 60% and move it down below the other layer and place together, Now lets open DS_LuckyMe_Glitter c/p as a new layer, arrange this layer to right above the mask layer and then rotate to the right by 90% and then resize by 20% now I duplicated mine a few times so it covers the mask area, now you can merge all the glitter layers together grab your magic wand and go to your mask layer click outside the mask area, go back to the glitter layer you made and hit delete, and then select none Now lets open DS_LuckyMe2011_Flair and c/p as a new layer resize by 9% I placed mine below my flower layers, now add a dropshadow and tube of choice (or tubes) hide the white background layer and merge visible. Now open DS_Merry Christmas_Branch2 c/p as a new layer and resize this by 30% now rotate to the left by 90% and place along the bottom edge of the frame, open DS_Merry Christmas_Branch c/p as a new layer and resize this by 28% and then again by 60% and rotate to the left by 90% place with the other branch, now duplicate and flip this move it towards the right just a bit now open DS_Merry Christmas_Leaf4 c/p as a new layer resize by 24% rotate to the left by 77% and move this to right above your frame layer arrange with the branches now duplicate this and resize by 80% and then rotate it to the left by 25% Now duplicate once more and mirror this now open DS_Merry Christmas_Leaf c/p as a new layer again right above the frame layer resize this by 15% rotate to the left by 90% now duplicate and flip and then rotate to the right by 25% duplicate and flip this and arrange with the other branches, now duplicate once more and mirror this. now open DS_Merry Christmas_Poinsettia c/p as a new layer and resize this by 18% now open DS_Merry Christmas_flower and c/p as a new layer resize this by 19% and place near the other poinsettia now open DS_Merry Christmas_Ribbon-3 c/p as a new layer resize this by 19% now flip it, I darkened mine a bit with the gamma correction tool now open DS_Merry Christmas_Reindeer c/p as a new layer resize by 19% and then mirror this place at the bottom right of the frame, when you are happy with your tag apply a dropshadow of choice and a tube of choice, hide the white background layer and merge visible. Open your template, duplicate and close the original, resize the canvas to 750x750 on the copyright layer flood fill white and send it to the bottom, Now we are ready to work lol ( you can ALWAYS resize later, I like having plenty of room to work) Open Paper 27 resize this by 18% smartsize c/p as a new layer and apply a mask of choice I used Artmama's masl 6 I duplicated this and then merged them together, Select your circle layer on the template, now Open Paper 10 and resize it by 18% c/p as a new layer, selections invert and then hit delete, select none, delete the original circle layer, Now lets go to the template layer rectangle layer, select all float defloat (OR however you like to work with templates) selections invert open Paper 3 from the kit and resize by 18% c/p as a new layer hit delete select none and delete the original rectangle layer, Now lets go to the template on the frame background layers lets use Paper 2 from the kit, Now lets add a few elements from this darling kit I used the snowman, and the envelope, Resized by 20% on the envelope and resizing the snowman by 20% as well rotate the envelope to the left by 15% arrange to your liking, I also used the string resizing it by 20% and then rotate free rotate to the left by 6% image mirror and arrange to your liking (Or use my tag as a guide) I used the mitten resizing this by 10%, and Bow 2 resizing it by 10% as well, I used the flower clip resizing it by 20% the rotated it to the right by 15% Now add your tube or tubes of choice, when you are happy with everything add a dropshadow of choice to your elements and tubes and hide your white background layer and merge visiable, I always resize my finished tag BEFORE adding my copyright info, it makes this seem clearer, add your name and copy right information and Save the way you prefer to save tags, I hope you enjoyed this tut smiles christy Ü
