My TOU and Some Info
Just a note about
my tuts I dont tell
all my secrets lol
like how I do the
glow on a name etc.
I also have no
control over the
FTU supplies
I am sorry but
sometimes the
kits are for a
limited time free
or just disappear,
I will share
masks etc ONLY
if the tou of
the creator allows,
You can easily find
another mask or kit
to use in place of
what I have used
on my tuts, I write tuts
as I create a tag,
I hope you all
enjoy them and
I thank you
so much for
taking the time
to stop by my blog

Spooktacular
Tube of choice, I used Suzanne Woolcott and Caron Vinson
Scrap used All Hallow's Eve (Full Size) by X-Clusively Christy Scraps (me)
Font of choice
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSP 9
This tutorial assumes you have working knowledge of paint shop pro,
All of my tutorials are my own creation and any similarity
with any other tutorial is purely coincidential.
Please do not copy my tutorials to anyplace, please link back to my blog!
Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
(you can ALWAYS resize later, I like having plenty of room to work)
Open xcd-ahe-paper7 resize by 19% c/p as a new layer and apply a mask
of choice, I used Vix_mask124 Now flip this layer,
Now open xcd-ahe-paper1 resize this by 19% c/p as a new layer and
apply the same mask, I turned the opacity down on these two mask layers
to around 50% then also added noise to each at 100%
Now lets open xcd-ahe-candycornframe c/p as a new layer and rotate to
the right by 90%, now resize this by 36% now grab your raster deform tool
and squish it a tiny bit on each side, Now open xcd-ahe-frame1 c/p as a new layer
resize this by 80% now I changed the color a tiny bit on mine using hue and
saturation set at , 33 and 169, Now grab your magic wand and click inside
the frame, expand by 10, open xcd-ahe-paper1 resized by 19% and c/p as
a new layer, I applied Vix_Mask87 with the invert transparancy box ticked
leave selected, now go selections invert and hit delete, invert your selection
again add a new raster layer BELOW this mask layer and fill with #e0b54e
Select none. Now lets open xcd-ahe-flower3 c/p as a new layer below your frame
layers but above your 2 mask layers (NOT the one we JUST did), resize this by
35% now I used gamma correction to make mine just a tiny bit darker
set at 0.80 Now open xcd-ahe-flower1 c/p as a new layer and resize this one
by 35% place this near your other flower, one should peek out on the left side
the other should peek out the left side TOP, Now lets open xcd-ahe-ribbon5
c/p as a new layer bring this layer to the top and resize this by 20% and place
at the top of your top frame, now open xcd-ahe-ribbon1 c/p as a new layer
image mirror and then resize this by 10% and place in the center of the bow
of the other ribbon, now open xcd-ahe-button3 c/p as a new layer and then
resize this by 10% and place in the center of the ribbons Now open xcd-ahe-bat1
c/p as a new layer and resize this by 15% and then image rotate to the left by
12% place at the top left of your frame, Now lets open xcd-ahe-monster2 c/p
as a new layer and resize by 13% place at the bottom right of the frame, open
xcd-ahe-candycorn and c/p as a new layer resize this by 15% and place in front
of your monster, now grab the raster deform tool and on the monster layer
squish him JUST a bit so it does not show from behind the edges of the candycorn
Now turn the opacity of the monster layer down to about 82%, when you are
happy with your tag apply a dropshadow of choice and a tube of choice, hide
the white background layer and merge visible (I added a gradient glow to my
bat and my frames as well and did NOT dropshadow the monster)
I always resize my finished tag BEFORE adding my copyright info,
it makes this seem clearer, add your name and copy right
information and Save the way you prefer to save tags,
I hope you enjoyed this tut
