Yuletide Treasures


Yuletide Treasures

Tube of choice, I used Maryline Cazenave and Rion Vernon
Scrap used Yuletide Treasures by Becca
Font of choice I used HaloHandletter
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSP 9

This tutorial assumes you have working knowledge of paint shop pro,
All of my tutorials are my own creation and any similarity

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,
My tuts are written using this size image

Open Paper9 from the kit and resize by 19%
c/p as a new layer and apply a mask of choice,
I used a roundish mask, WSL_Mask209

Now open yuletide_wreath c/p as a new layer and
resize by 26%, grab your magic wand and click
inside the center of the wreath expand by 9 and
then invert, open paper2 resize by 19% and c/p
as a new layer below the wreath, hit delete and select
none, Now open yuletide_leaves c/p as a new layer
place right above the mask layer and then
resize by 18% and then rotate to the left by 110%
place near the bottom of the wreath, now duplicate
and mirror, open yuletide_cluster and c/p as a new
layer, bring to the top and then resize by 30%
open yuletide_trumpet c/p as a new layer and
resize by 40% arrange below the other cluster
and then mirror, now open yuletide_ornament
c/p as a new layer and resize by 8% now mirror
and arrange along the bottom with the clusters
now open yuletide_ribbon c/p as a new layer,
resize by 14% now rotate to the right by 70%,
flip and then mirror, and place below the ornament
layer, Now open yuletide_tinyball, c/p as a new layer
bring to the top and resize by 26% place with the
other ornament, now open yuletide_snowflake2
c/p as a new layer and resize by 26% I placed
mine below the ornaments layer, I rotated to the left
by about 20 I then duplicated it and mirrored it
placing this one right above the wreath layer,
now open yuletide_ornament2 c/p as a new
layer, mirror and then resize by 10% place with
your others ornaments, now open yuletide_berries
c/p as a new layer and resize by 21% arrange to
your liking, now open yuletide_flower and c/p
as a new layer, resize by 17% and place to your
liking, I duplicated mine and place one towards
the top left of the wreath, I duplicated and flipped
and placed them together, Now open yuletide_bow
c/p as a new layer, bring to the top and then mirror
resize by 26% , Now add a dropshadow of choice
to your elements and a tube or tubes of choice
hide the white background layer and merge visible.

I always resize my finished tag BEFORE adding my copyright info,
it makes this seem clearer, add your name and copy right
information and Save the way you prefer to save tags,

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,
My tuts are written using this size image

Open tiram_jingle_bell_pp2 resize by 19% and c/p
as a new layer, apply a mask of choice, I used
WSL_Mask145, I duplicated and merged the 2

Now open tiram_jingle_bell_el9 c/p as a new layer
resize by 36% and grab your magic wand, click
inside the opening and expand by 5 now invert
open triam_jingle_bell_pp1 resize by 19% and
c/p as a new layer below the frame, hit delete
and select none, now open tiram_jingle_bell_el7
c/p as a new layer below the frame layer and
resize by 10% now open tiram_jingle_bell_el6
c/p as a new layer and resize by 13% you can
either place it on the top of the snowman body
like on my tag, or beside it like it is not done yet
now lets open tiram_jingle_bell_el1 c/p as a new
layer and resize by 16%, now lets open
tiram_jingle_bell_el2 c/p as a new layer, this
will be below your snowman layer and then
resize by 16%, rotate to the right by 12
I duplicated mine a couple times and resized
them to look like a small stand of trees,
go to your paper layer and select outside the
paper, and then go back to your tree's layers
and hit delete, select none, now lets open
tiram_jingle_bell_el8 c/p as a new layer and
bring to the top, resize by 15% I changed the
color of mine by using hue and sat both set to
0 and then using manual color correction tool
set at 0 255 73 with #920000 as my main color
I then used gamma correction to lighten it just a
bit, now open tiram_jingle_bell_el10 c/p as a new
layer, arrange to right above the mask layer and
then resize by 15%, place near the top left, duplicate
and mirror, now open tiram_jingle_bell_el4 c/p as
a new layer, bring to the top and resize by 5 now
rotate to the right by 58, now lets open
tiram_jingle_bell_el3 c/p as a new layer, move
below the other ornament and resize by 5
now open my wordart, and c/p as a new layer
or create your own. you can now add a tube of
choice or leave it as is, add a dropshadow of choice
hide the white background layer and merge visible.

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,

open gmendes_MerryChristmas_paper12 resize by 19%
c/p as a new layer and apply a mask of choice, I used
WSL_Mask315

Now lets open gmendes_MerryChristmas_element01 c/p
as a new layer, resize by 22% and move towards the left
of your mask, now open gmendes_MerryChristmas_element31
c/p as a new layer and resize by 27% and then rotate to
the right by 5% grab your magic wand and click inside the
frame opening and expand by 9 now invert, now open
gmendes_MerryChristmas_paper05 resize by 19% and
then c/p as a new layer below the frame, hit delete and
leave selected, open gmendes_MerryChristmas_element41
c/p as a new layer again below the frame, resize by 21%
hit delete and select none, now lets open
gmendes_MerryChristmas_element23 c/p as a new layer
bring to the top and resize by 16% and then rotate to
the right by 9 I duplicated and mirrored mine, now open
gmendes_MerryChristmas_element22 c/p as a new layer
place below the top greenery layer and resize by 11 then
rotate to the right by 18% now lets open
gmendes_MerryChristmas_element05 c/p as a new
layer, bring this to the top and then resize by 11
and then rotate to the right by 76%, I pasted it
again and resized by 13% and rotated to the left
by 9%, open gmendes_MerryChristmas_element03
c/p as a new layer right above the frame layer, resize
by 17% and then mirror, I placed mine close to the
tree that is peeking out, open gmendes_MerryChristmas_element56
c/p as a new layer right above the greenery layer
resize by 20% Now open gmendes_MerryChristmas_element18
I changed the hue and saturation to 0 and then used
the manual color correction tool to make it red (and also
added a gold version) to my tag, I c/p pasted as a new
layer above the greenery and resized by 18% then rotated
it to the right by 26% I pasted the gold version resized
the same and then rotated it to the right by 20% and
then mirrored it, I also added element 55 resize to 11%
with my other ornaments, when you are happy with
your tag, add a dropshadow of choice and a tube
or tubes of choice, hide the white background layer
and merge visible.

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,

open pd-pp-10 c/p as a new layer and add a mask of choice
I used Vix_Mask428 now I added pd-pp-02 c/p as a new layer
and add a mask of choice I used Vix_mask433

Now lets open pd-frame-01 c/p as a new layer, resize by 87%
grab your magic wand and click inside the frame opening
expand by 9 and then invert, open pd-pp-02 c/p as a new layer
below the frame and hit delete, select none. Now open pd-swirl02
c/p as a new layer right above your masks layers, move towards
the top of the frame, duplicate, mirror and flip, now lets open
pd-swirl-01 c/p as a new layer, this time bring to the top and
place along the bottom edge of the frame, now lets open
pd-snowflake-01 c/p as a new layer, arrange below the frame
and above the paper fill, I duplicated and flipped mine and turned
the opacity down to 40 on each, now go to the paper fill layer,
grab your magic wand and click outside the paper layer go back
to the two snowflake layers and hit delete on each, select none,
now lets open pd-wa-02 c/p as a new layer and bring to the
top, add a dropshadow of choice to your wordart and your
frame and a tube of choice, hide the white background
layer and merge visible.

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,
My tuts are written using this size image

open pd11-pp-01 c/p as a new layer and apply a mask of choice
I used gh_grungeframe11mask_bunnysatticdotcom
and good square frame type mask will work well

Now lets open pd11-tree2 and c/p as a new layer,
open pd11-border-01 c/p as a new layer, resize by 85%
I used my raster deform tool to stretch it out a tiny
bit and then squished it a bit, place near the bottom
of the frame area, now using the selection tool select
the inside frame area on your tag, and then open
pd11-town c/p as a new layer, I resized mine up to
120%, now invert and hit delete and select none, move
this layer below your tree layer (right above your mask)
Now open pd11-branch-01 c/p as a new layer and resize
by 55% place towards the bottom left of the tag, duplicate
and mirror, now rotate to the left by 90%, duplicate and
mirror, make a small cluster of all these on the left of the
frame area, now open pd11-frame-01 c/p as a new layer
below your greenery, resize by 35%, now lets open
pd11-flower-01 c/p as a new layer and resize by 45%
now open pd11-heart-01 c/p as a new layer below
the flower and resize by 45% and then rotate to the
right by 45% now open pd11-socks c/p as a new layer
and resize by 45% and place as the top layer, now open
pd11-string-01 c/p as a new layer below your heart
layer, now open pd11-snowman c/p as a new layer
this time it is at the top again, resize by 55% and
then mirror, now open pd11-ribbon-02 c/p as a new
layer and then mirror, resize by 55% and place on
the little socks, now open pd11-print-01 c/p as a new
layer right above your tree layer, place towards the
top left, duplicate and mirror and place towards the
bottom right, now add a dropshadow and tube or tubes
of choice, hide the white background layer and merge
visible.

Breathe of Winter

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,

Open SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_Bgd8 resize by 19%
and c/p as a new layer, apply a mask of choice, I used
Beckymask_22

Now open SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_frame3 c/p as a
new layer resize by 26% now rotate to the right by 12%
now open SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_frame c/p as a new
layer and resize by 34% now move the round frame up to
the left a bit, I then duplicated it and moved this to the
top, I erased all that I didnt want on top of the square
frame, now grab your magic wand and click inside the
square frame opening expand by 9 and open a paper
of choice, I used SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_Bgd12
resized by 19% hit delete and select none, now lets
open SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_buttontree c/p as a new
layer and resize by 28% and place on the right of the
frame, now open SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_ribbon2
c/p as a new layer and resize by 18% and place at
the bottom edge of the tag, now lets open
SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_swirl2 c/p as a new layer
place this below your tree layer and resize by 18%
I recolored mine with these settings hue126 and sat40
now open SherwoodSt_WintersBreath_flower and c/p
as a new layer, resize by 27% and place this below
the swirl layer paste again this time resize by 18%
and bring to the top, now add a dropshadow of choice
to your elements, (I did not add one to the duplicated
layer of the oval frame) and a tube or tubes of choice
hide the white background layer and merge visible.

Winter's Twilight

Font of choice I used Reklame Script Regular (Demo)
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSP 9

Open a new image 750x750 and flood fill white,
I Like to have room to work, this is your choice,
My tuts are written using this size image

open WT_paper2 resize by 19% and c/p as a new layer
apply a mask of choice, I used WSL_mask208

Now open WT_frame3 c/p as a new layer and resize
by 35%, rotate to the left by 6, grab your magic wand
and click inside the frame opening and expand by 9
invert, open WT_paper11 resize by 19% and c/p as
a new layer below the frame, hit delete and select none.
Open WT_photocorner, c/p as a new layer, resize by 18%
and rotate to the left by 6, place at the top left of your
frame, Now open WT_snowflakes c/p as a new layer
place this right above your mask layer and resize by
26%, I duplicated and mirrored mine. I moved the
duplicated layer to the top, Now lets open WT_trees
c/p as a new layer,resize by 18% and mirror, now
open WT_ornament8 c/p as a new layer, arrange
below the photocorner layer and resize by 24%
and place hanging from behind the photocorner,
open WT_ornament7 c/p as a new layer and resize
this by 30% place with your other ornament, you will
need to erase any of the extra string showing above
the photocorner, Now lets Open WT_ornament5 c/p
as a new layer and resize this one by 22% place with
the other ornaments, I duplicated and mirrored mine
Now Open WT_star1 c/p as a new layer and resize
by 6% and place on top to the taller tree, do the
same with another star of choice, placing it on the
shorter tree, (you may need to resize a BIT smaller)
when you are happy with your tag add a dropshadow
of choice, and a tube or tubes of choice, hide the
white background layer and merge visible.
